ABOUT
The center aims to address challenges in functional surfaces and interfaces through the usage of micron- and submicron-sized systems exploiting the tools of medicine/molecular biology, material science, nanotechnology, nano/microfluidics, and power generation.
Activities of the center require an in-depth understanding of molecular biology, genetics and biochemistry of diseases, omics approaches, clinical collaborations, chemistry and material fundamentals, surface and interface interactions, power generation on a small scale, along with targeted device design.
Research and development in EFSUN Center of Excellence consists of interdependent, collaborative, interactive and complementary activities of researchers who are world-class experts in their respective fields.
